I welcome the agreement as a big step towards overcoming the macedonian crisis. The success is largely down to Commissioner Hahn’s tireless efforts to find a compromise.

It is now vital for those responsible in the country to consistently implement the envisaged reforms in order to provide a level playing-field ahead of the elections. The overarching aim must be to create the conditions for free and fair elections in April 2016.
