Federal Foreign Minister Westerwelle expresses his condolences to Belarusian Foreign Minister following attack in Minsk
Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle has sent Belarusian Foreign Minister Martynov a telegram of condolence following yesterday’s explosion in the Minsk metro station Oktyabrskaya, which caused many deaths and injuries.
In the telegram, he offered his Belarusian counterpart and the people of Belarus his condolences and profound sympathy in the name of the German Government.
The telegram read as follows:
“At this difficult time our thoughts are with those who have lost friends and loved ones. We wish the injured a speedy recovery. I condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms.”
