Federal Foreign Minister Westerwelle and Foreign Minister Sikorski cross the Oder together
The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, will receive Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle on Wednesday (3 November) in Słubice, whence they will walk together to Frankfurt an der Oder.
There, both Ministers will speak at the conference on The Oder-Neisse Line: from Divider to Unifier at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). The conference is being held to mark the 40th anniversary of the Warsaw Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the German-Polish Border Treaty.
On Tuesday, the two Foreign Ministers are in Minsk on a joint visit to promote the rule of law and democratization in Belarus.
