Opening hours
The Legal and Consular Department is open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 12 pm, on Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12 pm and additionally on Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. You can only access the Embassy if you have an appointment so please contact the Embassy first via our contact form or by telephone.
The visa section is open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 12 pm, on Tuesday from 10:30 am to 12 pm and additionally on Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 p.m. Admission without appointment cannot be granted. Please first contact the embassy with your request using the contact form on the website or alternatively by phone. The visa section's telephone hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: +385 1 630 01 00.
Visas can be picked up Monday to Thursday only from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Office hours of the Embassy: Monday to Thursday 7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday 7:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.

Should an emergency arise after office hours, you can call the Embassy’s emergency hotline: +385 98 227 136. You can also send a text message to this number. Our emergency service can only be reached Monday to Friday after office hours to midnight or on weekends/holidays 8.00 to midnight.
Please note that the emergency service does not issue passports for crossing the border to Serbia or Bosnia and Herzegovina. It also does not answer general questions about the entry requirements to Germany or Croatia and cannot provide information on visa inquiries and residence permits.

Note on barrier-free access
The embassy currently does not have disabled parking spaces. However, it is possible to use a parking space at the embassy upon prior arrangement by telephone.
Please ring the bell at the yellow barrier gate. An embassy security officer will contact you. The access to the embassy building is currently not barrier-free.
If you need any special assistance, we kindly ask you to contact the embassy in a timely manner in advance.
