Citizens’ Dialogue events on the future of the EU are taking place across Europe. The German public has also been invited to take part. By the autumn of 2018, the Federal Government aims to receive a comprehensive survey of opinions in German society for discussions in the European Council.
The stakeholders’ forum, supported by the European Movement Germany, is taking place in the Europasaal at the Federal Foreign Office tomorrow. Minister of State for Europe Michael Roth and Dr Linn Selle, President of the European Movement Germany, will welcome the attendees. The stakeholders’ forum will focus on youth and education policy, aspects of economic and social convergence, common trade and foreign policy and Europe’s values and limits, as well as on issues pertaining to sustainability and environmental and consumer protection. Around 200 participants from civil society are expected to attend.
