The cooperation between the Humboldt Forum and the Goethe-Institut will facilitate greater international activity, as the Federal Foreign Office’s largest intermediary organisation will be working with the largest federal cultural project in Germany.

We have been working towards this goal in the Federal Foreign Office, as have I myself, in my role as a member of the Foundation Council of the Stiftung Humboldt Forum im Berliner Schloss (SHF). We look forward to seeing many joint projects. With this move towards greater international openness we are also implementing one of the mandates of the coalition agreement.
