We, the Federal Government, are today demonstrating that we’re serious about tackling the shortage of skilled workers. In a collaborative effort with industry, we want to give skilled workers swift access to the German labour market with a minimum of red tape. For this, the Federal Foreign Office will increase its visa processing capacity, as well as digitise the relevant procedures.
