The German Government takes the threat posed by cyberattacks very seriously. We will not tolerate cyberattacks against companies, crucial infrastructure or state organisations – regardless of who or what purpose is behind them. During the coronavirus crisis in particular, such attacks jeopardise freedom in society, our democracy and security.

Germany remains determined to counter cyberattacks along with its partners, most importantly those in the European Union.
