We would like to congratulate Ambassador Grossi on his appointment as the new Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Successes such as the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the nuclear agreements with Iran cannot be taken for granted but are thanks to steadfast international commitment on the part of the IAEA. Germany wants to continue to support the organisation and Ambassador Grossi in these efforts.
