Federal Foreign Office on the third evacuation flight of the airlift from Kabul
A Federal Foreign Office Spokesperson issued the following statement today (17 August) on the third evacuation flight of the airlift from Kabul:
Another A400M has just taken off from Kabul with 139 people on board, including Germans, other European citizens and Afghans. They will first fly to Uzbekistan and then travel on to Germany with Lufthansa tomorrow. The airlift is set to continue if at all possible in the coming days as far as the security situation allows.
