Federal Foreign Office condemns attack in Kabul
A Federal Foreign Office spokesperson issued the following statement today (21 January):
We condemn the malicious attack on the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul in the strongest possible terms. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families and friends.
Germany and the international community stand firmly by Afghanistan’s side and will continue to help the Afghan Government to stabilise the country and defend its security.
