Foreign Minister Steinmeier will meet Chinese Vice-Premier, Liu Yandong, in Hamburg on Thursday (24 November 2016).

Their talks will focus on economic, political and cultural relations between Germany and China, in particular on the conclusion of the German-Chinese exchange year and the development of relations between the two countries’ civil societies.

Foreign Minister Steinmeier and Vice-Premier Liu Yandong will also give speeches at the event, Hamburg Summit – China Meets Europe, at the Chamber of Commerce and sign the Chamber’s Golden Book.

They will then attend the closing event of the German-Chinese Year of School and Youth Exchange 2016 at Universität Hamburg.
