Foreign Minister Steinmeier on the NATO‑Russia Council
Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier made the following comments on 9 April during his visit to China:
I welcome the fact that the last hurdles have been removed and that the NATO‑Russia Council will soon be able to resume its important work.
It is good that we are talking again. There are many questions and issues on which a formal dialogue between the Alliance and Russia is not only useful but also necessary.
