Foreign Minister Steinmeier on the plane crash in Indonesia
Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier issued the following statement today (30 June) on the plane crash in Indonesia, in which – according to media reports – many people have lost their lives:
I was shocked and grieved to hear of the crash of a military aircraft on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Many fatalities have already been reported and the number could rise further. Our thoughts are with the victims’ friends and families and our deepest sympathy goes out to them. I wish a swift recovery to all those who suffered injuries.
