We are profoundly shocked by the murder of the Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh by ISIS’ barbaric terror hordes. Should the video of his horrific death prove to be authentic, this would be beyond the limits of human imagination. ISIS would have shown once again that it acts outside all civilised boundaries.

At this difficult time, our thoughts are with the family and friends of the dead pilot and with the Jordanian people. Jordan is paying dearly for its committed efforts to fight ISIS. It is therefore all the more important that the international community stands as one against ISIS and against terrorism.
