We are deeply shocked by the murder of the second Japanese hostage in Syria, which is a further heinous act of ISIS barbarity.

We condemn this crime and the inhuman tyranny ISIS has been spreading in Syria and Iraq in the strongest possible terms. We extend our deepest sympathies to Kenji Goto’s family and friends and join the entire Japanese nation in mourning.
