The Ambassador of the United States of America, John B. Emerson, was requested this afternoon to come to the Federal Foreign Office for a meeting with State Secretary Stephan Steinlein in connection with an investigation by the Federal Public Prosecutor General.

State Secretary Steinlein asked the US Ambassador for his cooperation to help ensure the matter in hand is clarified quickly.
