On Thursday (20 March) Foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier will receive the Defence Minister and his other cabinet colleagues or their representatives from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Federal Ministry of the Interior, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, as well as the Minister of State to the Federal Chancellor, for talks at the Federal Foreign Office.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss guidelines for Germany’s policy on Africa, with a focus on the opportunities that Africa offers for Germany and Europe.
