Foreign Minister Westerwelle expresses condolences to his Latvian opposite number
Foreign Minister Westerwelle spoke on the telephone today to his Latvian opposite number Edgars Rinkevics, conveying to him the deep-felt sympathy of the German people with the many victims following the collapse of a shopping mall in the Latvian capital of Riga. He went on to say that the German people stood by their Latvian friends and shared their grief at this difficult hour.
