Foreign Minister Westerwelle on Israel's settlement plans
During his visit to Abu Dhabi, Foreign Minister Westerwelle issued the following statement on Israel’s settlement plans today (13.11.):
“I welcome Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s freeze on the latest settlement plans. It is especially important at this time to avoid doing anything that might encumber the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians. We fully support US Secretary of State Kerry’s efforts in pursuit of a negotiated two state solution.”
