Foreign Minister Westerwelle is to open the Pakistan Days on Wednesday, 30 October, in Berlin.

The aim of the two-day event to be held in Berlin(30 October) and Munich(31 October) is to deepen economic relations between Germany and Pakistan and seek out new spheres of cooperation between the two countries.

The Pakistan Days are organised by the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Pakistan German Business Forum.

After the opening, panels made up of high-ranking figures from German and Pakistan Government and diplomacy, economic and financial experts as well as representatives of associations are to discuss opportunities and expectations of German-Pakistan economic and trade relations.
