Foreign Minister Westerwelle on the ban on the Belgrade Pride Parade
Foreign Minister Westerwelle issued the following statement on the renewed ban on the Pride Parade in Belgrade.
“I am filled with incomprehension and regret by the renewed ban on the Belgrade Pride Parade. Freedom of opinion and of assembly are inalienable components of universal human rights. This includes comprehensive protection of minorities within society who face hostility.”
