Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is to receive Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Villa Borsig on 30 July 2013.

The talks with the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates are to focus on bilateral relations and current regional questions. The situation in Syria and Egypt will play a central role.

Having visited the United Arab Emirates in January 2010 and April 2011, Foreign Minister Westerwelle made a third trip to Abu Dhabi in June 2012. His last meeting with his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan was at the Syria Conference in Doha in June 2013.
