Meeting of the Weimar Triangle Ministers for European Affairs, 15/16 July 2013, Heilbronn/Bad Wimpfen

The three Ministers for European Affairs from Germany, France and Poland will meet for political consultations in Heilbronn and Bad Wimpfen on 15 and 16 July 2013.

At the invitation of Michael Georg Link, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, French Minister for European Affairs Thierry Repentin and Poland’s State Secretary Piotr Serafin will come to the Neckar region in northern Baden-Württemberg, where the three close partners will continue their series of annual consultations on current European policy issues.

Ahead of the meeting Minister of State Michael Link issued the following statement:

I am confident that from here we will once again be able to give momentum to the discussion currently underway at European level. During Lithuania’s EU Presidency important issues are on the agenda, such as further developing and deepening the Union itself and shaping relations with our partners in the EU’s neighbourhood.
