Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office Cornelia Pieper will be holding political talks in Budapest today and tomorrow (5 6 March). She will meet with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, János Martonyi, as well as with members of the Hungarian parliament, including the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Mihaly Balla, and the Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs, Richárd Hörcsik.

Tonight the Minister of State will also open the exhibition “Russians Jews Germans” at Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.The exhibition of photographs by Michael Kerstgens documents the immigration of Russian-speaking Jews to Germany over the past twenty years.

This exhibition of the Jewish Museum Berlin is in Budapest at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary until the end of June.
