Tomorrow (7 December) in Düsseldorf, Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will present the 2012 German Sustainability Award, in the “Honorary” category, to former Mexican Foreign Minister and Chair of the Cancún World Climate Change Conference, Patricia Espinosa Castellano, and Achim Steiner, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

In his citation, Foreign Minister Westerwelle will address the need to shape global change and to perceive sustainable development as a foreign policy objective.
