03.12.2012 - Press release

An invitation from the Federal Government: public hearing on the Federal Government’s Human Rights Report chaired by Markus Löning, Federal Government Commissioner for Human Rights Policy and Humanitarian Aid at the Federal Foreign Office.

Every four years or so, as part of the UN Human Rights Council UPR (Universal Periodic Review) procedure, every United Nations member state comes under scrutiny. The event will take place in the Senatssaal of the Humboldt University in Berlin (Unter den Linden 6, 10099 Berlin) from 10.30 a.m. till 12.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 5 December 2012. Interested members of the public are warmly invited to attend. The hearing will also be broadcast live online at www.auswaertiges amt.de.
