On Friday, 19 October, Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will meet Japan’s Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba for political talks at the Federal Foreign Office.

In addition to the further expansion of bilateral relations, the meeting will focus above all on current regional and security issues, as well as trade.

Japan’s Foreign Minister is visiting Berlin as part of his first official visit to Europe since taking up office. He is also travelling to London and Paris.
