Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will meet the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Berlin tomorrow.

Their talks will focus on bilateral and regional issues, in particular developments in Iran and Syria.

Another topic will be the preparation of the meeting of the Group of Friends of the Syrian People’s Working Group on Economic Recovery, which is to be held in early September. The United Arab Emirates and Germany jointly chair the Working Group.
