Federal Minister Westerwelle sends message of condolence following the earthquakes in Iran
After the earthquakes that hit northwestern Iran, Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle expressed his sympathy for the victims in a message of condolence to Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi. The telegram reads as follows:
I was deeply saddened to learn of the severe earthquakes that hit the northwest of your country yesterday. Permit me to express my profound sympathy for all those who, in the holy month of Ramadan, have lost loved ones or have been dispossessed. I wish a speedy and full recovery to all who have been injured.
