Welcome
Doing business responsibly in a globalized world
Foreign Minister Westerwelle is opening the fourth agricultural and food industry external economic affairs day on 12 June 2012.
High-quality products bearing the label “Made in Germany” are in demand around the world. German companies need relevant information and viable local networks so that they can keep tapping attractive new markets in the future. The agricultural and food industry external economic affairs day, which the Federal Foreign Office hosts jointly with the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection and the Federation of German Food and Drink Industries, facilitates German companies’ entry into foreign markets. The event is taking place in Berlin for the fourth time this year. The motto of this year’s external economic affairs day is “fit for global business”, and the event will focus in part on the issue of doing business responsibly in a globalized world.
