Foreign Minister Westerwelle to host the award of the Henry A. Kissinger Prize

On Thursday, 24 May the American Academy is to present former US State Secretary George P. Shultz with the Henry A. Kissinger Prize.

As host, Foreign Minister Westerwelle will deliver the opening address. The citations will be given by former US State Secretary Henry A. Kissinger, after whom the award is named, and former Chancellor Helmut Schmidt.

The Henry A. Kissinger Prize has been awarded since 2007 in recognition of outstanding services to transatlantic relations.
