Minister of State Pieper, who is taking part in the 5th German-Russian Raw Materials Conference in Nuremberg, issued the following statement today (11 April):

The 5th German-Russian Raw Materials Conference is taking place in Nuremberg on 11 and 12 April. This Conference is the latest in a line of annual German-Russian Raw Materials Conferences. It is being organized by the German-Russian Raw Materials Forum. This year’s participants include Günther Oettinger, EU Commissioner for Energy, Martin Zeil, Deputy Minister-President of Bavaria and Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology, Minister of State Cornelia Pieper, as well as senior representatives of the business community on both sides.
