Foreign Minister Westerwelle on yesterday’s decisions in Athens:
“I welcome the decisions taken by the Greek Parliament yesterday. They are a first important step in the right direction. But the really tough work on implementing the agreed reforms startsnow. That’s the key requirement if Germany and the other euro partners are to support Greece with a further rescue package. The essential thing now is to get down to implementation.”
