On Wednesday, 8 February, Federal Foreign Minister Dr Guido Westerwelle will present the Federal Government’s strategy paper on the new powers in shaping globalization, “shaping globalization – expanding partnerships – sharing responsibility”.

Federal Foreign Minister Dr Westerwelle will present the strategy in the Weltsaal of the Federal Foreign Office. The Federal Foreign Minister will then be joined for a panel discussion by

- Professor Volker Perthes, Director of the German Institute for International and Security Affairs,

- Dr Jürgen Heraeus, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Heraeus Holding GmbH, and

- Professor Dr Beate Rudolf, Director of the German Institute for Human Rights.

Television presenter Dunja Hayali will lead the discussion.
