Federal Foreign Minister Westerwelle has expressed profound sadness over the death of Noach Flug, the President of the International Auschwitz Committee.
“We owe Noach Flug a great deal. Germany has lost a true friend.
He strove consistently to build bridges, to forge understanding between people of different faiths, nations and generations.
Thanks to his tireless efforts, there is now greater recognition that remembrance holds the key not only to the past but also to the future.”
