Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is meeting with former ISAF Commander David Petraeus at the Federal Foreign Office today.

Their talks will focus largely on the situation in Afghanistan in light of the gradual transfer of responsibility for security to the Afghan side.

General Petraeus handed over the command of ISAF to General John Allen yesterday in Kabul. He is stopping in Berlin today on his way back to Washington.
