The 5th Conference of German Employees in International Organizations and European Institutions will take place 16-17 June 2011 in the Federal Foreign Office.

Around 300 participants are expected. At the conference they can inform themselves about current issues in German foreign policy, the discussion in Germany on topics concerning the future, and concrete questions concerning international organizations and the European Union.

The opening talks by Mr Eckart von Klaeden, Minister of State in the Federal Chancellery, and Mr Wolf-Ruthart Born, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office, are open to the press.
