On Thursday (7 April) Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will meet Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman.

The talks will focus on bilateral relations, the Middle East peace process as well as the current situation in the region, especially in North Africa.

After the meeting in the Federal Foreign Office, the two ministers will take part in the 2011 European-Israeli Dialogue, which will centre around developments in the Middle East and the Arab world, as well as European-Israeli cooperation. Foreign Minister Westerwelle will make a speech on the watershed events in the Arab world and on their impact on the Middle East peace process.
