Federal Foreign Minister Westerwelle saddened by death of Warren Christopher
Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle today (19 March) issued the following statement on hearing of the death of former US Secretary of State Warren Christopher:
“I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Warren Christopher. His endeavours to bring about a peaceful solution in the Balkans will be forever remembered, as will his mediation between Israel and its neighbours. In all his activities, Warren Christopher was consistently committed to peace, freedom and humanity.”
