Federal Minister Westerwelle calls for recognition of the election outcome in Côte d’Ivoire
After the outcome of the presidential election was announced yesterday, Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle again urged all sides to recognize the results.
“Announcing the election outcome was a step in the right direction. We appeal to the candidates and their supporters to recognize the results and to use appropriate legal channels should they want to raise any objections.”
