On Thursday (4 November) Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is to meet with János Martonyi, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Hungary.

The talks will centre on the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union which begins on 1 January 2011, the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and drawing the Western Balkan states closer to the European Union.

At 2.15 p.m. the two Ministers will open the German-Hungarian Forum (Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the Federation, Behrenstrasse 21/22).
