Minister of State Hoyer heads to Helsinki for talks

Werner Hoyer, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, will today (14 October 2010) meet representatives of the Finnish Government and Parliament for talks in Helsinki.

Minister of State Hoyer’s first appointment is with the Finnish Prime Minister Mari Kiviniemi. This will be followed by talks with the Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Sauli Niinistö and Minister of Migration and European Affairs Astrid Thors.

The discussions will take in current foreign and European policy issues and will focus inter alia on how to further stabilize the Eurozone and on the forthcoming negotiations on the multiannual financial framework.
