Today Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle met with former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for an exchange of views. The focus of the talks, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, were issues related to disarmament, security policy and European policy. Following the recent signing of the New START Treaty between Russia and the United States, Guido Westerwelle and Henry Kissinger discussed possible further disarmament steps.
