Due to the air travel restrictions, the meeting scheduled to take place in Berlin today (20 April) between Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Iurie Leanca, had to be cancelled.

Instead Federal Minister Westerwelle had a telephone conversation with his Moldovan counterpart today (20 April). The two ministers agreed to meet in Berlin as soon as possible to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues.
