Federal Foreign Minister Westerwelle expresses his condolences following the railroad accident in Belgium
Today (16 February) Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle sent a letter of condolence to his Belgian counterpart Steven Vanackere. The letter read as follows:
“I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the terrible railroad accident in Buizingen that claimed the lives of over 20 people. I would like to express my sincere sympathy to you and to the citizens of the Kingdom of Belgium.
At this difficult time, our thoughts are with the victims and their families and friends.”
