Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan to continue his mandate for the time being
After consultation with the Federal Chancellor, Federal Foreign Minister Westerwelle has asked the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Ambassador Bernd Mützelburg, to stay in office for the foreseeable future.
During the next few months, his work will focus on the preparations for the international Afghanistan Conference in January.
