Today (12 November) Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will travel to the Swiss Confederation for his inaugural visit.
Minister Westerwelle will meet the President of the Swiss Confederation Mr Hans-Rudolf Merz in Berne for brief talks.
Foreign Minister Westerwelle will then meet his Swiss counterpart Federal Councillor Micheline Calmy-Rey for in-depth discussions. The talks will focus on current European policy and international issues as well as on bilateral relations between Germany and Switzerland.
