Commenting on today's attacks on two hotels in Jakarta, Federal Foreign Minister Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier issued the following statement in Berlin today (17 July):

“The German Government condemns in the strongest possible terms the cowardly attacks in Jakarta this morning which claimed the lives of several people and seriously injured many more.
We share the grief of the family and friends of the victims and wish those who were injured a speedy recovery. The perpetrators and instigators of this attack must be found and brought to justice.”
