Minister of State for Europe Günter Gloser will travel to the Slovak Republic on 17 February for political consultations.
Whilst in Bratislava he will meet Deputy Prime Minister Dušan Čaplovič, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Europe Milan Urbáni, and his Slovak counterpart, Ol'ga Algayerová. The talks will focus on energy security for EU Member States and on the economic and financial crisis.
The Slovak Republic is an important production location for the international automobile industry and has many close ties with German business. Minister of State Gloser will therefore also meet German business representatives during his visit.
